We divided the firm into 8 teams, each with attorneys and support staff. The firm provided each team with $100 to start with, and the goal was to select a charity and raise as much money as possible using the $100 within 30 days.
The creativity, imagination, and enthusiasm was palpable as each team met to choose a deserving charity and decide how to go about raising additional money. Some teams held raffles, some held fundraisers, some sought matching corporate donations and another sold their children's artwork to friends.
Overall, $800 was turned into $3,944.00 for the eight charities listed below.
