Result: Division of Human Rights Complaint Dismissed
MSD recently obtained a dismissal of a Complaint filed with the New York Status Division of Human Rights against our client. Complainant alleged that the client discriminated against him based on his disability and that he was denied a reasonable accommodation. After a thorough investigation, the DHR concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support the claims brought against our client. Rather, the record reflected that the client established that it did not deny or delay a reasonable accommodation request for a disability once it was put on notice of the need for same. The DHR issued a determination of no probable cause and dismissed the Complaint.
